On the Other Side of the Cornea is a project by the MUSUX research group, specializing in interdisciplinary art, within the Music Department of EAFIT University. It stems from a particular problem: It's common in interdisciplinary artistic works to create music for film, video, theater, dance, and many other media, starting with a pre-existing production or work and then incorporating the music. However, it seems less common for the reverse to occur—for music to be used as a foundation for incorporating other media or disciplines. Thus, Narrative Music seeks to be a project that blends different artistic expressions, using music as a cohesive element.
